I went out for some nice girlie shopping and dinner with a friend on Tuesday.

Stereotypical guy reaction: "Wooohoo! Pizza and beer and sports/dirty movies/politics/whatever I'm not allowed to watch while the little woman is around!"

Dr. Steve reaction: "I can finally get the floors and bathrooms cleaned without you in the way, sweetie."
